Vieunite Proudly Supports “Antarctica: A Challenge to the Senses” Art Exhibition in Argentina

Our esteemed Vieunite Artist and visionary photographer, Guillermo Giagante (Guille), recently showcased his extraordinary photography work in an immersive exhibition in Argentina. From the 6th until the 21st of July, nine of our Textura digital canvases displayed over 100 breath-taking pieces captured during Guille’s journeys to the most extreme and unexplored continent on Earth – Antarctica.

Under the theme “Antarctica, a challenge to the senses”, Guille’s lens focused on icebergs, glaciers, whales, penguins, and more. The tranquillity and mystery conveyed by the blue hues in his photographs truly inspire a longing to experience the beauty of Antarctica. According to Guille, the exhibition was a great success, with Textura as centrepiece and a great medium to showcase his art:

“People were amazed by the Textura digital canvas! They have been a great success. People are really amazed by this technology and they are perfect for sharing my Antarctica photos. You feel as if you could touch the ice, with its texture that seems 3D. Since Friday, which was the opening, at least 2,000 people have attended the exhibition and all the comments were incredible – both about the photos and the Textura!”

Visitors also had a lot to say about the immersive exhibition and how Textura helped deliver a truly unique and memorable experience. Visitor Carlos Alberto Toledo had this to say:

“I visited the exhibition yesterday and was amazed not only by the spectacular images of our frozen continent but also by the quality of the rendition the digital canvases produce. Not only are the colour and sharpness superb, but the texture adds warmth and a painterly feel that makes this exhibition and the images shine above any print I have ever seen.”

Another visitor felt that Textura allowed him to be transported all the way to the magical places of Argentina, stating:

“I entered the room and it was an immersive experience… I heard the wind and felt the cold in my bones. (…) A dark and grey sky filled the room, the wind was whistling. I needed company in the face of such immensity, I was in a storm at sea. And then the sun came out in another photo, and brought calm… I can’t explain how I could travel across those oceans on the roof of a shopping mall in my city, how I could feel so far away just a few meters from my house. (…) I return different to the warmth of my home. They’re going to ask me what happened to me, I won’t be able to explain. Let them see the exhibition…”

Starting 22 July, Guille will open a collective exhibition featuring works from his online students, with 72 participants from 8 different countries. With the goal of sharing his work and passion for art, he hopes to take this exhibition around the world, not only to renowned museums and galleries but also to more remote and rural towns.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Guille and help bring his talented work to the world. Through these incredible artists, we aim to inspire creativity and bring art into people’s everyday lives.
