This September, Vieunite is joining Birmingham Open Studios 2026, bringing together local creativity, international perspectives, photography and multidisciplinary art for a special exhibition at the Allsee Technologies Innovation Centre in Longbridge, Birmingham.
Taking place across 26–27 September and 3–4 October, the exhibition is free to attend and invites artists, photographers, creatives and art lovers to discover work from Birmingham and around the world.
Vieunite’s Global Spectrum
At the heart of the exhibition is Vieunite’s Global Spectrum, a visual journey exploring our connection to space, place and the environments around us.
The collection features celebrated Birmingham-based photographer Richard Battye and the late Anthony Webb, alongside international perspectives from Argentina, Patagonia, Canada and Switzerland, including Christian Redermayer.
Bringing local and international artists together, the collection explores how our surroundings can be captured and interpreted through different creative perspectives.
The RPS Central Region Showcase
Visitors can also discover a curated collection from the Royal Photographic Society Central Region. Featuring photography created by regional members over the past year, the showcase captures everything from local photography walks and creative challenges to individual artistic journeys.
As one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious photographic societies, the RPS brings another exciting perspective to this celebration of photography and creativity.
Guest Artists
The exhibition will also feature two multidisciplinary guest artists, Jo Vincent and Beth Alexandra.
- Jo Vincent creates semi-abstract en plein air landscapes inspired by the natural world, exploring creativity as a grounding ritual for wellbeing.
- Beth Alexandra explores mixed heritage and cultural memory, navigating the space between European and Kashmiri traditions through painting, collage and ceramics.
Together, their work adds new perspectives on nature, identity and our connection to the world around us.
